COMING SOON funnily tree /ˈfənəlē trē/ (noun): a podcast in which genealogist Josiah Schmidt interviews your favorite comedians about their family history to find out what went wrong. But Seriously: Funnily Tree is a podcast centered around interviewing funny people about their family trees. We talk about formative childhood years, lessons from parents, memories of grandparents and great grandparents, known ancestry, and stories/legends passed down within the family. All this in an atmosphere of light-hearted, improvisational games and activities played with guests. But when we're not laughing, this show can be serious, thoughtful, and enlightening. Your Host: Josiah Schmidt is a professional genealogist, history PhD candidate, and semi-professional goofball. Josiah has hosted other successful podcast series before, and he is thrilled that Funnily Tree allows him to combine his passions and skills in a truly delightful presentation.
